Because the skin stays green, eating quality is judged by internal maturity rather than color, and our packhouse selects on that basis.

Export Keitt is graded by piece count per carton. The common range runs as follows: 6 count for the largest fruit at roughly 600 to 700 grams each, 8 count at 500 to 600 grams, 10 count at 400 to 500 grams, and 12 count at 350 to 400 grams. Most Gulf and European buyers settle on 8 or 10 count as the retail sweet spot, while foodservice and processing buyers often prefer the larger 6 count.
