Packing & Shipping
Every pomegranate is hand-graded to remove cracked, sunburnt or misshapen fruit before packing into 3.5–4 kg export cartons. Palletised cargo is pre-cooled and shipped in 40 ft reefer containers at controlled temperature and humidity to preserve rind freshness. Departures from Alexandria, Damietta, Sokhna and Port Said, sold under Incoterms 2020 — FOB, CFR/CIF or DAP/DPU.

What is the minimum order for pomegranates?
One full 40 ft reefer container. Mixed loads with other autumn fruit such as guava or mangoes are possible, and samples can be couriered ahead of your first order.
Can cartons carry our own brand?
Yes. Carton artwork, stickers and buyer-defined grading specifications are all handled at our certified packhouses.
Why does pomegranate need such careful handling when the skin is so tough?
Because the tough skin hides the damage. Handling impact bruises the arils inside while the outside still looks sound, so a consignment can pass a visual check and open badly. Pre-cooling and stow discipline matter more on this crop than it appears.
What calibre should I order?
State a calibre range with a tolerance rather than a single size. Larger counts carry a premium and are the first to be allocated; mid counts are usually the best value and dominate the later picks.
What is husk scald and will it affect my consignment?
A storage disorder that browns the outer husk without necessarily harming the arils. It develops in store and in transit, which is why set point and storage duration are agreed per shipment and why long holding before loading is a risk worth pricing.
Do you supply arils or juice as well as whole fruit?
Whole fruit is the core programme. If your requirement is arils or juice, say so at the enquiry stage, because the grade, the packhouse and the specification conversation are all different from a fresh whole-fruit programme.
