Potatoes are graded, optionally washed, and packed in 25 kg bags before loading into ventilated containers — or reefers for hot-season routes — to keep tubers cool, dry and free of greening. We ship from Alexandria, Damietta, Sokhna and Port Said, quoting under Incoterms 2020: FOB, CFR/CIF or DAP/DPU, with full phytosanitary documentation for each destination’s import rules.

What is the minimum order quantity?
One full container, roughly 26 to 28 MT per 40 ft in 25 kg bags. Bag size and big-bag formats are set to your handling at the receiving end.
Do you offer samples and private label?
Yes. Bag printing and retail formats are produced to your specification, and samples can be sent ahead of a first order.
Which variety should I buy?
Spunta for the classic export table potato and the widest availability, Cara and Diamant where the market or the cooking use calls for them. Tell us the end use and the market and we will say which is open for your weeks.
Washed or unwashed?
Unwashed travels and stores better and is the default for most lanes; washed presents better on a retail shelf but shortens the window and needs a tighter cold chain. It is a trade-off to settle before pricing.
Why do the two crops matter to me?
The spring harvest reaches Europe before local new potatoes, which is the premium window; the autumn crop covers late-year demand. A buyer who programmes both has Egyptian supply across most of the calendar from one supplier.
What is greening and how is it avoided?
Light exposure turns tubers green and bitter. It is prevented by opaque packing, dark storage and keeping the container cool and dry, which is why the box type is matched to the route and the season rather than chosen by default.
