Dense, heavy heads and clean outer leaves make Egyptian cabbage a dependable volume line for wholesalers, caterers and processors alike. Nile Prime ships both white and red cabbage from Delta farms where cool winter nights build the tight, crisp heads that hold up well in long-distance trade.
Why Egyptian Cabbage?
From November to April, Egypt produces cabbage with high head density and excellent internal quality at highly competitive freight rates to the Gulf, Africa and Eastern Europe. It is a robust traveller — tolerant of long transit — and Egyptian volumes remain steady through winter when many origins run short.
