Tender, dark green and harvested young, Egyptian zucchini has become a staple line for importers seeking reliable winter courgette supply. Nile Prime works with specialised growers in the Nile Delta who pick daily at the ideal 14–21 cm stage, so the fruit arrives glossy, firm and ready for demanding retail programmes.
Why Egyptian Zucchini?
From October to May, Egypt offers one of the longest and most stable courgette seasons in the Mediterranean basin, bridging the European supply gap with consistent quality and volume. Fast harvest-to-cooling routines and short sea transit to Europe and the Gulf preserve the delicate skin and shelf life that make zucchini a sensitive crop elsewhere.

Packing & Shipping
Zucchini is field-graded, packed in ventilated 5–10 kg cartons and pre-cooled the same day to remove field heat. Reefer containers maintain an unbroken cold chain from packhouse to discharge port. We load at Alexandria, Damietta, Sokhna and Port Said and quote under Incoterms 2020: FOB, CFR/CIF or DAP/DPU.
FAQ
What is the minimum order quantity?
One full container is our MOQ, but mixed loads are common — zucchini pairs naturally with peppers, eggplant, cucumbers and green beans in a single reefer.
Do you provide samples and private label?
Yes. Pre-shipment samples can be arranged, cartons can carry your brand and market-specific labelling, and SGS or Intertek can inspect every load before departure.
