Easy-peelers are the fastest-growing segment of the citrus category, and Egyptian mandarins give importers a winter supply of sweet, deeply coloured fruit at volume. From November to March, Nile Prime ships Murcott, Fremont and Clementine mandarins — juicy, low-seed fruit with the glossy rind and loose peel that drive repeat retail purchases. Egyptian mandarins pair naturally with orange programmes for efficient combined citrus sourcing.
Why Egyptian Mandarins?
Warm autumn days and cool Delta nights build sugar and colour early, letting Egypt hit the pre-Christmas easy-peeler window with fully mature fruit. Competitive farm-gate costs and short transit to the EU, Gulf, Asia and Africa make Egyptian mandarins one of the best value plays in winter citrus.
